Why For? (About this site)

Alright, when I say your name, you say ‘here.’ And we will assume ‘here’ is short for ‘here I am…rock you like a hurricane.’

I’m a network engineer* in Redmond, Washington, and I’m starting down the track to get CCNP certified (plus a bunch of others). Anyone who’s started or finished that road knows it’s a bit more than prepping for a mid term, especially when you’re starting from scratch, so I’ve put this up to help me organize my thoughts, collaborate and exchange with anyone interested, and to share my experience and findings with others. If anyone finds this, and decides to chime in with questions or suggestions, they are more than welcome.I intend to write primarily about Cisco technologies (routers, software, theory), but as I’m a network admin, something server/domain/other related will crop up, or the off hand note about something completely unrelated.

Edit: It’s anything networking related now.

* The debate surrounding the term ‘Network Engineer’ is beyond the scope of this document.
